Office Design
Baker & Mckenzie is an international
law office now located at the corner of Duke and Wellington streets in Griffintown, Montreal. This law office interacts with people from many cultures in different countries. The design is reflective of the global perspective of the company, inspired by the elements of the world: air, water, earth and fire.

The law office has two separate areas: the work area where the offices of lawyers and other employees are located and conference rooms with the reception area where lawyers meet with their clients.

The plan has the shape of the number four, so the design of the circulation is inspired by the shape of the building itself.

The office has thirteen closed office for the lawyers and four closed offices for administrators, which were designed to be conveniently close to a second exit in the office.

Small enclaves where employees can meet and work together have been built into the center of the office. The library was also designed into the center in order to be easily accessible to everyone.

The lounge is situated in a corner space that has spectacular views and sun all day so the employees can relax and reguvinate.
